Our most popular swag! It’s a big roomy single traditional style style, ie no poles, ropes or sewn in mesh, just unzip and hop in for the best nights sleep under the stars! These heavy duty Murchison River Swags have been made from Australian made, military grade canvas.

It is cotton polyester blend, which means it is a breathable canvas which has been treated and is waterproof, rot proof, shrink resistant and mildew proof. The canvas we use is from the ONLY AUSTRALIAN CANVAS maker left in Australia, and they even use Australian grown cotton!

All our swags are about 7ft long and very roomy because of the ‘box border’ design at the foot end, so the canvas comes up and over you like a tent style. An extra long hood is incorporated into the head end, which basically keeps your body heat in and the wind and rain out. The YKK double sided zipper is in the middle of a large border is covered by a storm flap.

There are even zip sliders at each foot end for a little extra ventilation or if you need to hang a foot out for air! With lots of attention to detail like rot proof thread and all the edges folded twice to prevent the canvas from fraying and getting caught in the zippers, we are sure you will be impressed.

All swags come complete with a very comfortable 50mm high-density foam mattress which has a zip-off cotton cover for ease of cleaning with the option to upgrade to our new 85mm ULTRA DELUXE MATTRESS

The swags are secured with 2 x 38mm webbing straps and marine grade stainless steel "D" rings.

Custom colours: Our swags can be custom-made in an assortment of colours, please get in touch with us if you’d like to know more about our custom colour options.

Warranty

Our 10 Year Warranty applies to all our products which are handmade on the premises by John and Gabrielle, both fully qualified upholsterers who take pride in their work.

Stencilling

We offer a free stencilling service on all Murchison River Swags products. If you would like to have your name and number stencilled on your swag, please let us know in the notes section in the CART page (prior to checkout)

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch your order within 2-4 working days from date of purchase, provided the item is in stock and does not need to be made to order. 

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.

*Please note that most of our products are made to order. Due to the high demand, these orders can take up to 7 working days to be completed. 

If you require custom stenciling on your purchase this can take an additional 2 working days to be completed, if you need an order urgently please email us and we will do our best.

Return customer here... Decided to get one of the mighty King Brown Swags whilst Auscam is still available. As always, the workmanship is top notch using only the best materials. This is sure to last a lifetime and more. Super comfortable and easy to set up, the latter a bonus after a few drinks... The Swag can be used on its own, or as frequently suggested, in conjunction with a mozzie dome tent - best of both worlds.

Shoutout to John and Gabrielle for also offering impeccable customer service! Murchison River Swags is one of, if not the easiest, business to deal with. My second review

This is my second review cause I love my swag so much. I’ve been sleeping in the swag on the floor behind the lounge cause my children have taken over the main bed. But the swag is that comfortable that I’ve been sleeping like this for the last 2 months. Don’t think I’ll move back to a normal bed lol.
I only have the standard mattress and it’s perfect for me. Thank you John and Gabrielle for making such great products.
